“Ifyouaskme,”saidEdmund,“it’slikesomewhereintheNarnianworld.Lookatthosemountainsahead-andthebigice-mountainsbeyondtheSurelythey’reratherlikethemountainsweusedtoseefromNarnia,theonesupWestwardbeyondtheWaterfall?”

“Yes,sotheyare,”saidPeter.“Onlythesearebigger.”

“Idon’tthinkthoseonesaresoverylikeanythinginNarnia,”saidLucy.“Butlookthere.”ShepointedSouthwardtotheirleft,andeveryonestoppedandturnedtolook.“Thosehills,”saidLucy,“thenicewoodyonesandtheblueonesbehind-aren’ttheyveryliketheSouthernborderofNarnia?”

“Like!”criedEdmundafteramoment’ssilence.“Why,they’reexactlylike.Look,there’sMountPirewithhisforkedhead,andthere’sthepassintoArchenlandandeverything!”
